This newly built Coquitlam townhouse was fully furnished and designed with a minimal Japandi style that feels warm, clean, and inviting. We focused on natural textures and serene color palettes, using white oak, cane, and subtle black accents to create a calm, relaxed, yet visually interesting home.

Our full-service interior design included selecting furniture, finishes, and designing custom millwork tailored to the clients’ lifestyle. Highlights include a custom dining banquette with hidden storage that maximizes circulation in the living and dining area while maintaining a seamless, functional layout. My clients are a young family and they really appreciated the extra storage space, keeping their home feeling calm and clutter-free.

The home embodies the Japandi aesthetic, blending Scandinavian simplicity with Japanese-inspired warmth. Neutral tones, natural woods, and minimal decorative elements create a serene backdrop, while subtle details—like black finishes and cane accents—add contrast, texture, and personality throughout the space.
